Wagyu steak was horrible. Have had nice Wagyu meat many times, this was definitely not Wagyu meat and nearly $70 for the steak alone. Two others of our party had Salmon which was very bland.

I don’t complain much but tonight’s experience pushed me to post this. Bar tender could figure the difference between a dirty and straight martini and took forever delivering them. (We ate at the bar!) The $70 Wagu NY was tough and overcooked. Had it not been tough I would have sent it back. Our north Atlantic salmon was virtually tasteless. Topping off the experience, I gave my credit card to pay our $270 bill. The signature page showed my cc was charged $450, somebody else’s bill. In experience, lack of attention to details and limited menu selections should not command such a price premium their name asks for.

I went on a Monday night and it took over an hour and 15 mins to get my food delivered. The food arrived cold, the wait staff said they had a power outage, which was not told to us until we said something, and the meat was tough and tasted poor. For this amount of money for a steakhouse, I was extremely disappointed.

Super delicious, ordered the wagu ribeye and lamb chops. Side of house salad w/ Mac and cheese. Everything went down smooth with a couple of cocktails. A+. Expensive but not bad considering it’s a ski resort town.

Wow… where to start…. made a reservation for 7:15pm and was seated immediately. Our waiter was very nice and did a great job the entire evening. I ordered the elk and it was amazing, to say the least. Perfectly cooked, seasoned well. The whipped potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had. No one at our table was disappointed by anything we ordered. Definitely expensive but worth every single penny! Forgot to take a before picture… but here’s an almost finished picture.

Walked in without a reservation at about 730. We weren’t expecting much but thought maybe we could sit at the bar. We were told by the hostess we could sit at the bar around 815 and she would text us. There were about seven open seats at the bar, but we were told the bar was just slammed with drink orders so we would have to wait. The hostess gave us recommendations to get a quick drink and we received a text at 820. We called and said we had to close our tab and we’d be there within 10 minutes. We called again while we walked over and the hostess advised we could no longer get a seat as they were not serving dinner anymore. We were SOL because other places were not serving dinner anymore either. We walked back to The Dogwood and had excellent drinks/apps.
