Eli’s Tavern is a living record of the history and heritage of The Coonamessett’s Cape Cod tradition. While the new Eli’s feels more contemporary, our Cape Cod restaurant still houses the heart and soul that has made it a community hub for decades.
Saddle up on a stool with one of our legendary bartenders for drinks and our full menu, or bring the crew in for a big family dinner. Our 90-seat dining room can accommodate good sized groups, and our newly opened community room is a perfect event space for larger parties, while never feeling stuffy.
Based on 79 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.3 stars. Price $$

Service is top notch here. Their brunch buffet has a vast selection of items. My husband enjoyed his choices which ranged from eggs Benedict, prime rib, seafood broil, and desserts. My son and I ordered the ceviche as an appetizer. It is not pictured here. The ceviche was bland and the plantains that came with it tasted stale to me. My son ordered the Citrus Jerk striped bass as his entree. The bass was tender and flavorful (he gave me a bite). He also, highly recommends the bass! I ordered a lobster roll with a side of cole slaw. The roll had a generous portion of lobster. However, it was chewy. The cole slaw was delicious and refreshing. I would not recommend the ceviche nor the lobster roll. My son and I shared the apricots & cream for dessert. We both enjoyed it. With that said, we plan to return. I for one will be trying the brunch buffet my husband immensely enjoyed!

Unbelievable fish and chips, baked cod, clam chowder, and service. Jay and Linda are a treat. You can’t go wrong here. My highest rating.

Been there several times. Had a decent experiences until this week. The only problem is the service. They seem to be understand. And yet kept sitting tables down. The last straw was when we ordered desserts and she didn’t show up for 25 to 30 minutes finally we had to leave. Then she asked if you want to take me desserts to go and one was a Sunday. There’s many other things went wrong. But the food and the atmosphere was not one of them. And if there was a negative star I would have given for service

Went for a wedding. Food was really good. Got their steak tips and my boyfriend got cod for dinner-both extremely delicious! Staff was super nice too. The old fashion, unfortunately (even with bulliet bourbon) was not great. I definitely recommend going for the good food and the views. Its a beautiful place by a lake

For a warm, English Tavern atmosphere, fantastic food, and a great wine menu, all served up by a talented kitchen staff and friendly, professional dining room staff…..this is the place to be!! Our favorite for so many reasons. Thank you, Connamessett Inn!! A gem in Falmouth….

Worst service I’ve ever had: I waited for a long time to be greeted, the bartender was highly inexperienced, tons of gossiping between the staff happening while a paying customer was within ear shot, the manager was extremely rude. The menu looked really good, but I was disappointed in the quality and presentation, the drinks were disappointing as well.

Tried to have a drink here before dinner but the staff seemed confused by the entire concept. Bartender told us to order a drink from a waitress at one of the tables. Host them told us to order from the bar. We went nextdoor to Jack’s instead.

Bit of a confused experience…like 3 different experiences in 1 spot. The pics make it out to be fresh and well designed, but space needs an overhaul to deliver on how it’s presented. The front is dark and a bit worn, back is simple and bright but cold. Wanted to eat outside but wedding took that space. Food was ok…cod was great/drinks need work. Saturday night and entrees were slow prob due to wedding.

I can’t review the food, as we never actually ate anything. The fact that the online menu is OLD and has certain items no longer available ruined our experience at Eli’s.

We have been going to the Sunday brunch buffet for decades. When we walked in this Sunday, on time for our reservation, there was no hostess, no staff to assist us at all. After several minutes one of the wait staff notice us standing there and said we couldn’t eat in the dining room because there was a private party. What??? They were about 8 people at one table in the whole dining room and we had to convince him that we had a reservation and should be allowed to sit near the windows, which he reluctantly allowed. No one else was there!!! That being said, the food was fine (not what it used to be, but fine), the coffee was good. Service was fine, but not what it used to be. The place was almost empty when we left. Highly unusual for a Sunday morning in June. So disappointing to see a quality establishment diminished.
