I got some bagels, cream cheese and some lax bagels with salmon and cream cheese today. They delayed my order and helped the people who came in later. Food wasn’t fresh and they were rude.

What happened to this place? When they were across the street the old owner was the nicest guy. Stopped down and there were 3 people in the store including me. The owner was so stressed out for some reason. The woman in front of me had a order for $5 something-gave the owner a $10 and he flipped on her for not having exact change. Told her not to come back. Very rude to everyone-it was like the patrons were bothering him by being there. The bagels were OK – but not worth the attitude. I’ll stick to bagel heaven in Peq.

I used to go here when it was across the street… we haven’t been since they moved.. went on Sunday around noon my husband and i were 2 out of the 3 people in there. The kid at the counter was SUPER nice…. but the owner is a complete jerk.

One of the best bagels around that deserves to be out of a strip mall and in it’s new stand-alone location. My chicken salad on sesame bagel was fresh, generously portioned, and came with a free bag of chips. My whole family loves this place especially for morning Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwiches!

Extremely sad. I’ve been going to Eli’s for YEARS, basically my entire life in Montville. Their quality has gone down over the years but this was the last straw. Awful bagel, extremely rubbery and hard to chew. Paired with an extremely small amount of Taylor ham and one small piece of cheese, unmelted because the entire sandwich was cold. Asked for salt, pepper and ketchup but I guess not today! I added the ketchup at home.

Just left there and paid $14.50 for a TEC on a roll with a large coffee and bag of chips. The prices are insanely high. I wouldn’t mind the prices if it was good but the sandwich was terrible. 2 pieces of taylor ham and it wasnt cooked. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE
