We selected this restaurant based on the online reviews and table availability. We were blown away by the food and loved the service. Everything was delicious and it really had a family style atmosphere. The soup was outstanding and I took a horiatiki salad home and it was so good! I will be back the next time I am in the area!

Simply the best Greek food I’ve ever had! The appetizers; octopus, cauliflower, zucchini chips and the fried cheese were super good. You must try the lamb shank. It was delicious. Dessert was amazing too. The service was amazing.

Food was ok. Fried vegetable appetizer tasted just like French fries. ( not worth ordering) the lamb shank lacked spices. Will get lamb chops next time

We had a great meal last evening at Elia Taverna. The staff was very welcoming and offered very attentive service. Water was refilled several times and delicious warm bread with olive dip was served right away and refilled two more times for us.Having been to Greece several times over the past 35 years, I am very familiar with the tastes of Greek cuisine. I will say Elia Taverna is very authentic, fresh and delicious. The spinach pie was perfect with a great homemade phyllo. We loved the chips with tzaziki and the gyro and skewers with pork were great. Desserts are not to be missed. Very authentic. Can’t wait to return. So happy to have this amazing Greek restaurant in Marblehead.

The food was excellent and so was the service. It seemed very authentic. Loved the lamb chops especially. We will come again—I hear there is dancing the first Sunday of the month.

Food/service was great but not happy with the 2% “Administration Fee” tacked on. Not mentioned on the website or the menu. I hate these extra fees. When asked why we were told because of inflation. So are you going to keep your prices the same and just raise the administration fee every year?

Great food! I also got the greek margarita which was fantastic! This is my wife and my favorite date night spot! You can make reservations but the bar is also first come first serve. Lastly the portions are huge!

I have eaten here countless times and it is always the MOST delicious. Elia Taverna transports you to Greece with beautiful decor, traditional music, and a TV that plays footage of the stunning Greek islands. Not only is the food delicious, fresh and authentic, but the staff treats you like family. I highly recommend the Octopus and greek salad (Horiatiki) as starters, and then the Mediterranean Grille (for larger parties as it’s quite big), Bronzini, or Lamb Chops for entrees. All of the desserts are delicious and the perfect end to a meal. In addition to their authentic and extensive dinner menu, Elia has an array of wine and ouzo imported from Greece as well as classic cocktails.
