Most reviews lean towards a surplus of Adjectives. There is something to be said about longevity and consistency in this business. This establishment has, for two decades of my life, steadily brought you amazing tasty Indian Cuisine. All of the staples that makes Indian Cuisine what it is… delicious. They have seen some pretty spectacular changes in decor but on the whole it is simply fantastic Indian Cuisine!

The food here is really good. The owners are amazing! Super friendly and very accommodating. I really look forward to going here. The naan is crispy and delicious. Love the coconut curries. It’s great because the can also accommodate spice level which is hard for some restaurants. I frequent many Indian restaurants and this is on of my top.

I don’t get the other reviews, this was the saddest, most flavorless indian food my date and I ever had. The “vegetable pakoras” were just big chunks of unseasoned boiled veggies that had been breaded and deep fried. Curry was so bland, the paneer “masala” tasted like straight up canned tomato paste, and even the naan just tasted like cheap pizza dough. Nothing was good except for the beer and the server who was very nice.

Absolutely hands down the best Indian I’ve ever had in my life. Unpretentious and incredibly complex flavors. Full bar and kind staff!

Omg yum! We came here at about 10pm on a Sunday after visiting Griffith observatory. I was a bit worried because when we walked in, we were the only ones in the restaurant, and I was worried they’d rush our food and just want us to leave. But they were so lovely and friendly! The observatory closed at 10 and other people clearly had the same idea, because the restaurant soon filled up around us, which was nice. The food was delicious, and there’s a million options! Really flavourful and tasty and big portions. We ordered way too much, and they gave us a takeaway bag to bring it with us 🙂

Love their food. I wasn’t really a fan of Indian food before trying electric lotus. Their atmosphere if you dine in is really nice, portions are great and the garlic naan is a must try.

Fantastic food. Great curry, the coconut lamb curry was exceptional and flavorful. The ‘american classics’ such as chicken tikka masala were fantastic as well. Great quality of ingredients over-all. The ambiance is also fantastic. The orders of rice I found to be quite small you may need more than 1 order. So-so wait staff but it gets the job done.

Visited this place on a Saturday evening. We ordered Chicken Bhuna, briyani and Laccha parathas. The chicken bhuna was delicious and the parathas were properly cooked. The briyani was average though. I ordered masala chai and it tasted very bad like it was mostly water. But the waiter took it back and removed it from the total. The prices are quite low too. So a good place to visit.

Food, meh. I asked for my chicken makhani to be made spicy and it came mild and way too salty. The veggie samosas were pretty good. The service was slow and inattentive and we were THE ONLY TABLE. Probably won’t be back.
