Literally loved this restaurant and can’t wait to again sometime. Food, wine selection, and atmosphere were all dialed to create a memorable dining experience. We ordered a few different dishes, desserts, and drinks which were all excellent. Service was extremely friendly/helpful and can’t recommend this spot enough!

First visit to ELDR even though I’ve been to Grove Park several times. By far the best food at/near the resort along with the best staff! Had breakfast on my last visit but will definitely be returning for other meals. Small restaurant but so worth the time to make reservations. Try the huevos rancheros and any of their awesome coffee drinks

We had dinner at ELDR for the first time on September 10th and liked it a lot. It was a nice evening, so we sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance. The server was attentive, but not intrusive, and did a fine job. I had schnitzel and my wife had scallops, and both were excellent. We were disappointed when Golden Fleece closed, but we’re pleased ELDR has taken over the space and is making good use of it. All in all, it was a really pleasant evening, so much so that we have another reservation and we’re bring friends for their first visit to ELDR.

Tonight was special. Sean helped guide us through the menu, picking out the duck breast and pork schnitzel as noteworthy dishes to try. Of course we ordered his suggestions and were not disappointed. By far one of the best meals that my boyfriend and I have had all year. The attention to detail and the quality of ingredients used was next level. Talk about a place that is passionate about the food they serve and where it comes from. Everything tasted like it was either fresh from the garden or hand picked within a day of being served. Completely satiated, we will be finding our way back every time we visit Asheville.

What an adorable place this is! Highly recommended to visit if you are a local or visiting here. You will not be disappointed! Carson, the owner, was so kind to us. She made sure we had everything we needed for a birthday celebration (she supplied a candle for us!). Patrick, our waiter, was also kind and compassionate. I always sense great customer service and Patrick and Carson went above and beyond to make our experience magical – thank you so much! The food is amazing! I had the duck with seasonal vegetables. Perfect portion! Overall great experience! Tip – try to avoid the Vanderbuilt parking as it does cost money – which is higher than other parking garages/designated parking in the area.

For breakfast/brunch start with the Eldr fire latte. Amazing! You just can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Unique flavors. Incredible thoughtfulness into not only each ingredient (like micro greens) but decor, color theme, etc. the outside patio is beautiful. Uniquely positioned on the grove park property but easily accessible. Ample parking. Staff was wonderfully friendly. Highly recommend. We will be back!!
