This dismal diner had horrible food. The service was spectacular but couldn’t redeem the horror from the kitchen. The Caesar’s salad wasn’t one, really. The French onion soup was bland and seemed reheated. The lukewarm spanakopita wasn’t fresh or flaky, and amazingly, the chocolate egg cream and lemonade were bland and weak. The service was warm, parking plentiful, the restaurant was empty and we won’t go back.

The food was pretty bad. Even the lemonade was bland. The chocolate egg cream lacked flavor and fizz. The spanakopita was not at all flaky, and seem reheated. The French Onion Soup was bland. The service was outstanding in a deserted restaurant on Cinco de Mayo.

Easy to get a seat for Sunday breakfast. Service was fast, food was just alright. Potatoes weren’t seasoned at all and club sandwiches were dry. The restaurant looks nice, but we were seated next to the windows and had ants coming into our seats the entire meal.

This is my family’s go-to spot whenever we meet up on central ave. Their staff is very friendly and accommodating. Especially towards my 7 y/o. Food is traditional diner food but without the stomach ache you would get in other spots. Even their BLTs are better than others. Try the fudge cake too.

None of the gluten free options listed on the menu are available anymore. They only have gluten free toast now. They need updated menus so people don’t waste time coming if they cannot find options for them. The up-charged maple syrup didn’t taste like maple syrup. The bacon was extremely thin and dry, very bad quality.
