Went after work with friends. The service was excellent. As soon as I sat down our server was there. Some of our party came later but were quickly served. I had shrimp tacos which were delicious. The guacamole was fresh and all the food items were brought to the table quickly and was very hot. The only downside was the loud crowd at the bar. I would not hesitate in recommending El Vaquero to friends and family.

If you didn’t know already, the restaurant has remodeled inside! New booths, tables and chairs, and artwork! It looks amazing! My fiancé and I went for the Valentine’s Day dinner and had truly the best experience. Service was 10/10! Our waitress was so prompt, kind, and welcoming! Not to mention, she took our full order and once and the food service was SO FAST! We had the valentines special which consisted of 2 margs, fajitas for two, and fried icecream for desert. We didn’t get charged any up charges for modifications or flavors which is always a plus. The cashing out process was easy & the live music tonight for Valentine’s was a great touch! Definitely recommend & will be returning!

The tortilla chips they offer have no flavor, and definitely no salt on them. The salsa is watery and reminded me of ketchup. I added hot sauce that isn’t even remotely spicy. I tried the “Green Habanero” sauce and found it to have a hint of spiciness but I used a lot of it. I asked about spicier sauces but was told that the green and red sauces in the table are all they offer.

We had a great experience tonight for dinner. The food was excellent, the service was excellent. And Carlos, the manager make us coming here a great experience. He always steps in to help his staff and make the customers more than happy. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants great Mexican food, margaritas, chips, and salsa.!!

Overall fantastic experience wonderful fast friendly service food was very good! Only downsize was the portion sizes of the meals that we received for the lunch size portions as their about 2 to $4 more than everywhere else in town and my steak and chicken fajitas was very flavorful nicely seasoned my wife’s enchilada was fresh just not very big size portion. But over a great dining experience highly recommend this establishment.
