Honestly the carne asada, tortillas, rice, beans AND salsa are the Cure to depression -as well as a seemingly instantaneous transportation to ✨San Diego✨ where no food coast to coast has come close to feeling like home. I moved away from all my favorite spots in my hometown 8 years ago. I hadn’t realized until today that I have indeed been depressed since then.

Very authentic and fresh spot. Sauces and meats all very fresh and tasty. Quick service and friendly people. My only complaint is how loud it is inside, everything else was fantastic. Standing eating area was nice as well.

Best tacos in Santa Maria hands down. I don’t know how the season the asada or how they cook it, but it is tender with a delicious wood fired taste. The rest of the meats such as carnitas and tripas are equally stellar, and its literally a tortilla factory, so you get the freshest possible tortillas with your tacos . More of a Deli than a restaurant though, and with the pandemic, it means it’s gotta be take out. Besides the tacos, the combos are a good deal for family lunch or breakfast. I highly recommend trying out this place.

I have had good Mexican food and I have had terrible Mexican food. This was one of the best. I decided to stop in because there was a line of cars trying to get into the parking lot and a line out the front door. The wait was worth it. I got an entire fish for a meager price tag of $5.00 and this was no small fish. I also ordered a wet burrito with pork and I was in heaven. The pork was so tender you didn’t really have to chew it. Awesome place at a reasonable price. Glad I stopped!
