Service was great. Food was great. Refried beans looked a little over done.

I’ve only ever gotten take-out. So I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere inside. Food is good. I say this because I’m not a fan of Mexican usually. But here the options and the food itself is definitely better than others and makes me return.

Food is great. However, the bosses/the couple who owns the place are definitely rude to employees. They also fire people based on lies. For me personally, I’d rather not hang my hat at a place that does this kind of stuff.

Average Mexican fare. Beans and rice were slightly over cooked because plate was overheated. Lettuce was wilted.

The salsa was very bland, basically tasted like straight tomato and onions. The chips were abnormaly salty and coated in a seasoning. We ordered guacamole. I honestly would bet that it comes in premade on a truck. It was dark in color and thin in consistency. Like it was whipped up instead of mashed. My chili relleno was unnaturally shaped like a small tube, definitely manufactured and nothing homemade about it. It actually looked like a breaded hot dog which made me laugh and shake my head. The coating on the chili pepper was crunchy bread crumbs like you would have on fried chicken. Very hard to cut through. The waitress commented that it comes in that way. And this is apparent when you taste the food. My fish taco had a small tasteless piece of mass produced breaded fish that was mostly breading. The special sauce was thousand Island with chili powder or something like it, mixed in. It was funny if you have a sense of humor and already counted your losses. The food is bland, not good, mass produced in a factory, not authentic and disappointing.

Not “El Toro” – El Bore-0. How can Mexican food be so bland?? I could taste no cumin, no chili, no cilantro, no jalapeno….no spice at all. The food was edible overall, but no flavor. No green sauce available, no hot sauce on the table. I had to ask for hot sauce, and they weren’t even opened. If you like basic, white people “mexican” food without the pesky spices, go for it. But if you want flavorful authentic Mexican – no.

I absolutely love to come here to eat. Every chance I get to I do. Definitely recommend! Very clean and very friendly staff. Had a new young waitress this evening and I have to say she was doing a fantastic job. Kuddos to the waitress training her tonight! Definitely need more waitresses like those two ladies.

Updated rating 4-21-23. Large portions and fresh. Spices… Add spices to the food. Most of what we ordered was bland. Excellent chips and salsa!

Our service was impeccable. Our waitress Rona is the sweetest lady alive and she was so sweet and fast despite there being a lot of people here tonight and she did her absolute best. 100 out of 10 will come again.

This is not authentic Mexican food. Worst Fajitas I’ve ever had it wasn’t cooked and shrimp was basically raw like they threw it in a pan and then put it in a skillet to serve more like stir fry.
