Hole-in-the-wall places off the beaten track often make the best food! We stumbled upon this hidden gem a few years ago. I’ve lived on the border of Mexico, and am often critical of Mexican food restaurants. This may not be the best I’ve ever had, but it’s certainly very good, one of the best in Central Pennsylvania!

Been meaning to give this place a try. First off, do not discount this place because it is attached to a budget motel. The inside is really colorful and authentic. The staff are fantastic as well. When it comes to the food, I was genuinely impressed it was delicious and the guacamole is easily the best in the area. I cannot recommend this place enough!

If you think eating at a mexican restaurant attached to a shady motel would be bad, you would be right.

While the location near the econo lodge may put some people off don’t let it stop u from trying this restaurant. The food was delicious and authentic. Lunch fajitas were extremely generous portion for the low price. Our server Rob was polite, attentive and very helpful!

Have been coming here for years. The food was fantastic, great drinks too. The prices are very reasonable and well portioned! Chris our server was very attentive and courteous. He was able to laugh and joke around with us during service just like he was part of the family, he even chased after us to return our credit card after we left it on accident. A great spot for a quick get together for drinks or a family dinner.

This place does not even deserve 1 star but it won’t let me post with 0. We were served the worst “Mexican” food I have ever eaten. The tacos came with either beef that looked worse then dog food or chicken that looked and tasted like tuna and came from a can. Our server “didn’t think so” but it definitely did. There was so much water from the chicken that the soft shells were completely soggy and disgusting. I had to ask for new shells with the chicken separate and was given a bowl of chicken in water, and couldn’t even eat the flavorless mess. There was absolutely no seasoning on any of the food. The “Mexican rice” was the most bland rice I’ve ever had. It was orange with a few peas thrown in, but was probably the only half decent part of the meal. Our server was kind, but nothing was taken off of our 45.00 bill, which was disappointing and unfortunately we will never be back.

Food was great. Was about to leave, looking at other restaurants in the area when the server finally came back (they sat us and didn’t come back for exactly 20 minutes). Never did bring me my margarita. Bathroom smelled sickenly gross. Booth seats are torn up and patched with duct tape. Place needs a little TLC and more servers.

Service was absolutely excellent. Couldn’t ask for a nicer bunch of people working there. The vegetarian lunch was great! I don’t know how they make spinach taste so amazing! My partner had the tacos and gave them two thumbs up. The only complaint I would have is their guac wasn’t good. It was way too smooshy. It’s supposed to be fork mashed, not pulverized. And it had too much salt or something in it??? But other than that the food was fantastic. Definitely going back.

The chips and salsa arrived warm and delicious, we were anticipated a wonderful entrée and experience, we were very disappointed. We ordered a few different items to get a sample of the menu as our favorite Mexican restaurant shut down years ago. The tamales looked and tasted like they were prepared ahead and frozen or ordered in. No corn wrapping and so drenched in Mole as to be unidentifiable and very tasteless. The refried beans were super runny and had no flavor. Our waitress couldn’t even identify several of the things when asked what they were. Will not be going back.
