I specifically asked the male server how big the tortillas for the taquitos appetizer was, he said full sized rolled tortilla. The menu said 12 rolled taquitos. He cut them in half so he only gave me 6 rolled tacos, so it was converted into 12 pieces. Price? 16.00

This place is my absolute go to Mexican restaurant in the high desert. I love having drinks here with my friends and family. I have been a patron here for YEARSSSS. very disappointed that they moved locations. I would be lying if I said, I still came here as often as I used to- the new place just doesn’t have the same vibes. Still, nonetheless, the same employees still offer the same friendly service, and they are trying their best to make the atmosphere just like it was at the original location. I guess it’s true what they say… Location, location, location. I hope the owner can decide to go back to the way it used to be. In the meantime, I’ll still be stopping by. My rating has nothing to do with the quality of the food, just the fact that they moved. The food here is really good all the time! I hope the chefs are getting the recognition they deserve.

Excellent fajitas! The flavor is excellent! Service was great, staff is very nice and very attentive! Good flavor in everything I ate. My husband gave his seal of approval. He never likes anything so for him to say it was really good then you know it was great. Carnitas fries were amazing

I came to visit this restaurant, several days ago, at the new address. With the exception, that this restaurant is smaller, nothing has changed much. The staff was courteous, helpful, and attentive. The meals, that I have ordered, were delicious. At the same time, they were well made. The service was great, just like in the old place. Of course, prices have increased, due to inflation. Still, every penny was worth spending in this establishment. It is my go-to place, when I visit my family in High Desert. Definitely, if anyone is in High Desert, I would recommend to visit this restaurant. It is located next door to car dealership, and tire shop.

El Tio Pepe – formerly located at the Bicyor Valley Mall. Has now relocated to palmdale road in Victorville. Same great good and service. The restaurant has a nice sports bar and serves up outstanding drinks. Price point $$+ higher than most.
