The food here is great. Amazing hot chocolate. The staff, however, is rude every single time I have been here. It seems like if you are female or not a regular; they don’t want to deal with you. Today I decided to not tip because their front staff was again off-putting. And the lady started TALKING about me (assuming I don’t speak spanish).

I’ve been eating here for 30 years, stumbled upon it as a 19yr old kid working at an auto parts store next-door and have continued to come back every time I’m in the area. The best Colombian empanadas and pan de Bono in Miami, you can fact check me!

Food is excellent. The owner is stingy with the condiments that are to be included with the food. Example: you buy 9 or 10 Columbian empanadas she gives you 1 small container of hot sauce to go with the order.???? 1 complements 2 empanadas max. When you request more she gives you attitude and makes sly remarks. She will do this to others too. Just is just 1 example. Why go somewhere where you pay to be mistreated. Her luck is the other employees are professional enough to supply the customers correctly. They come back and avoid her…. if you go judge for yourself. For me I cannot return as she needs to park the attitude, leave her problems at home and not spread it to the public. Not worth the risk to be verbally abused in her business.

I enjoy visiting this little market last week . I order pan de bono and tequeño. Both delicious, you can tell their tequeño is made daily, the dought was soft and not hard or chewy like most colombian bakery . One of the best tequeño I had here in Miami.

We have been going to this establishment for years, woke up early Sunday for a Father’s Day and took my dad his favorite breakfast. Unfortunately my dad was not happy he claims the owners or cooks could have possibly changed he could taste the difference in sauce even the meat in the empanada. I paid almost 80 for a pikada and etc…. The papas were black inside and tasted grainy. Disappointed to say the least.
