GREAT food!!! I’m guessing some of the staff don’t speak English, but still the service was good. It feels like, and is, a cafe or diner with great food rather than like a fancy restaurant. But if you want good food, we’d recommend it.

Place was awful. Ordered a chicken torta. It came out on a hoagie bun! with French fries!. I have never seen French fries served at an authentic Mexican restaurant before. My friend a burrito and a taco. Looked and tasted like we got it from the local elementary hot lunch program. Terrible! Don’t go here! Server didn’t even speak. Just pointed at the menu and shrugged his shoulders.

Soupy Twist
It doesn’t look like much when driving by, but the quality of the food, and the attentive service make up for it. A majority of the staff spoke little English, but this didn’t seem to stop them from making sure our needs were met. The proportions were plenty, some meals were so large they had to be delivered on multiple plates. Although the restaurant is quaint, the size of their margaritas are humongous. Check out the size of the glasses above the bar so you can see what you’re getting yourself into. As far as cleanliness, it was ok. The bathroom could use a lot of attention, but the tables, chairs, and silverware were presentable. You may easily forget some of these trivial matters after enjoying the great food with a nice view of the lake…and you’d be hard pressed to beat the price!

This is a absolutely amazing restaurant. Living in the area I can say this is a must eat at place, the owner and staff are very friendly and the food they serve is always excellent.! The owner literally ordered a special kind of bottled water for us. We really do not see service like this anywhere. CAN’T GO WRONG! 5 STAR SERVICE!

Disappointing. We came from out of town and there was a line out the door. Locals in line told us what a great spot this was for authentic Mexican fare. The disappointment settled in about 5 minutes into our meal. It took forever to get our food and drinks, we waited over 30 minutes for a refill on water, Margaritas, or chips. the toilet in the women’s restroom was inoperable and the trash can was overflowing with paper towels. We didn’t receive the appetizer we asked for. The chicken tacos included peppers, which I dislike very much, and was not stated on the menu. The music was so loud it was hard to hear each other talk. I would not come back here again. Margaritas were also overpriced and sickeningly sweet. Save your money- go to Taco Bell and pick up some margarita mix from your local grocery store, and call it a night instead of visiting this joint.
