I read that El Tapatito won best of bellingham so i had to try it. Wow oh wow was i impressed. I had a go to Mexican spot in bellingham but no more. Had the $11 taco plate 2 asada and 1 pastor, beef was incredibly moist and tender the pastor was equally so. The rice was bland but beans and cheese awesome so overall an A+ from me and i will be back, can be sure of that

We had El Tapatio cater our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. So affordable, and so much better than your typical $50+ plated dinner for a wedding. We were able to have options for every dietary need, and they were able to serve 110+ people really efficiently. People loved walking up to the truck for dinner! We tasted 6 taco restaurants and this one was definitely the best. Highly recommend for a meal and even more so for a catered event! Thank you!

Solid spot. Stopped in after work and ordered takeout, taco salad and enchiladas. Great food, great staff, plenty of parking, outdoor space to eat- overall a place I would go again.

I grew up in Texas and Colorado and only moved to Bellingham about a decade ago. I feel like I am fairly particular about what a good taco-truck experience ought to be, and for many, many years El Tapatio has exemplified that: really good food, made quickly, and not costing an arm & a leg. So I’m definitely recommending it. Why only four stars, then? Because it can be unreliable, shall we say. If you get to the truck during lunch time on a work day, you can expect _very_ good food; you may have to wait for a bit, but they clearly have their #1 cooks at work during that time. If you arrive on a Sunday about 1:30pm, you need to lower your expectations, because your meal may be incredibly bland. (May be! MAY be!)

First visit and ordered two supreme burritos with everything on it… Apparently they were out of a few toppings but the girl decided to charge full price without saying anything and we were served very underwhelming portions, even after the older gentleman in the truck asked her what she charged us.

San Antonio boy visits WA…and gets some amazing Mexican eats! Had me the burrito con Asada beef…and ijole! Es un burrito deliciouso!!! A plate of food in a tortilla. The beef is delicious and tangy, rice is fluffy salsa is spicy & smoky! Young man who took my order is pleasant AF. Gotta hit this place up again before i leave.
