Amazing service. Someone in the kitchen knows what they are doing. Really good food. Tasted like a lot was made from scratch. At first glance you think it is going to be the same as all the other restaurants but the food is noticeably better. Just traveling through but I saved it on my places to stop again. Food was not as good as I remember from the past. Service was much improved since our last visit. Apparently, they have a “Front manager” now that moves around checking on customers & making sure things are right. He did take care of a few things for us when we needed help. It was very good to see that customer centric approach and was very appreciated!

I ordered 2 Pork Chimichanga’s to go today. They where the worst I have ever had. The pork was so dried out, the tortilla was just wrapped, not fried. This was the first time eating there and the last.

Food is decent. The server forgot our margarita and extra napkins, didn’t ask if we needed refills on water. Makes you pay for more chips and salsa. Door also appeared to have a bullet hole in it. There’s better Mexican food in the metro area so maybe go here if you in Arvada and have no other options available

The fajitas at El Tapatio are phenomenal. The staff at the Golden El Tapatio are maybe the nicest and best staff I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Seriously, we go there for the service 1st and a close 2nd, the food.
