If you stop in Winner South Dakota, make sure to stop in at El Tapatio. The food is delicious and is served in generous portions. Our waitress was extremely friendly and always presented herself with a smile. It is a large restaurant, so if you pull in the parking lot and they seem busy park and go in, they will have a table for you.

This is a hidden gem. Looks like a warehouse on the outside but the inside is a total surprise! Very colorful, extensive menu with authentic Mexican food and very big drinks! Complimentary chips and salsa upon being seated. Family friendly. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Fairly priced.

Meat was burned on kids burger. The chips and taco shells were stale. Enchiladas were bland and dry. Margarita was ok as was the queso. Not impressed. Waited a while for the check. 4 members of staff just sitting around talking while we waited.

I ordered a lunch special taco, Chile rellano, taco was ok the Chile rellano was NOT! It had a tasteless red sauce and runny cheese! Not good at all. This will be the last time I eat here!
