Usually buy a large amount for my shop and we’ve never had a complaint. Staff is very polite, orders usually pretty quick in my opinion and so far every visit the food has been great. Highly recommend this little gem.

Ordered 2 Hawaiian Tortas for to go @ around 3:10ish, we waited and waited. I didn’t want to rush them till 2 other people got their food within a few minutes after they ordered. I asked the lady and apparently they forgot about our order even tho we were sitting there and they keep on asking other tables if they are ok. We got our tortas @ 3:55pm, they were soggy and cold like if they were made an Hour ago. And the lady who walks from kitchen to reception never apologized.

Commerce City is known as the industrial area of the Denver metro area. The refineries, factories, warehouses, truck stops, all this seem like the life blood of this part of town. One thing is definitely not known for, is its culinary scene, and based on the exterior appearance, some of this establishments look questionable. I met a friend for lunch El Taco Stop because it was the closest place between him and me. As I walked in, it looked like a typical Mexican restaurant, with folkloric images painted on the walls. A little confused if I should sit down or walk to the counter. It took a few minutes for the staff to acknowledge my presence and I was told to take a seat.

Use to enjoy coming to this place even though the food hadnt taste the same in some time. But the fact i had to pay about 80$ for 3 pounds of carne asada and 3 drinks is ridiculous. Use to be $15 for a pound.

This is my first time to El Taco Stop. I have driven by nearly every day and always wanted to stop. I ordered beef and chicken sopas. My sister ordered the el pastor burrito. The food was fantastic. The service was great. The green chili is flavorful. We will be back.

Huevos Rancheros were outstanding and the portion was generous enough for 2 meals. The Ranchero sauce is bold and spicy with a mild smokey flavor. Served with beans, rice, and a whole fried jalapeno for extra heat if you like. Service could have been more attentive but I would go back for the food.

45 minutes to wait for the food. Great food just unfortunate to wait that long.
