Cute Restaurant. Very small inside. Tables only fit up to 4. Came with a group of seven and we sat separately at 2 different tables. The menus font is fairly hard to read. Food is very good. EXTRA LARGE portions. Burritos can easily feed 3 people. Price a really good for food. Chicken is very yummy. Yummy drinks. Staff is very nice. Over definitely recommend coming.

This restaurant is a great family-owned, local place. The interior is clean and staff is always friendly. I’ve tried a couple different items off of their menu but this time I ordered a chorizo burrito. The portion was adequate for the price you pay, and I appreciated how the “wet” Ingredients like the sour cream, lettuce, and tomato were served on the side from the actual burrito. It made reheating the left overs very convenient. The only drawbacks were that the chorizo was on the saltier side, and there weren’t any utensils or napkins in the take out container I received.

I got a torta. It was kinda cold besides the steak inside. My cheese wasn’t melted, which in my tortas I would like it to be warm and melty. I also would’ve like a side of salsa Verde. One of the 2 young girls wasn’t very nice or welcoming when taking my order. Didn’t smile or even say you’re welcome when I said, “Thank you, have a good day.”” She said nothing at all.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER. I ended up drinking the broth that came with my birria tacos. The tacos themselves are heavenly and put any Mexican food I’ve ever tasted to shame. I will be recommending El Taco Rico’s to everyone, any chance I get. I’m not sure who is cooking but they deserve to be just as happy as I was eating their food.

I had provided good a review for Taco Rico a few years back and have returned occasionally with only 1 complaint since. There was something slimy in my iced tea. I only order beer or bottled soda now. However, tonight I placed a to go order and am sorely disappointed. I ordered chips, salsa, queso, and birria tacos. As you can see from the photos the salsa was watery and flavorless. No vegetables to be found. Even the queso was watered down. The birria tacos were charred. All 8 of them. I could barely finish 1. I don’t know what changed but my family and I will not be returning.

Great option when you near town. Price are competitive, I got quesabirria tacos they taste good, I try platillo rico and it was plenty of food at least for me, and it was good. “fresh juices” not to great, soda is better. Give it a try there is a lot of more items to try.
