So I tired this place twice mainly because it’s very close to where I live. First time it was hot and fresh. Second time I tired tamales (more breading them meat) street corn was tasty but messy. I will try again because it’s local.

First of all, let’s just say the prices are enormously expensive… about $11 for 3 tacos with very little meat. I still gave it a try, since this place is a humble establishment in the town of Tucker. However, the only good part was the strawberry Fresca. It was sweet and tasty, but I was soooo disappointed at the prices and lackluster food. Also, like $13 for chicken vegetable soup? Omg! Service was fairly quick, but I am just disappointed in the food. I rarely eat hispanic food for this reason as it’s a hit or miss. The other Venezuelan place I ate was cheaper and so good. But I wish I could say the same about this place.

Tried this place out for the first time thanks to Tucker Restaurant Week and glad I did. Good was fantastic, the staff were very friendly, turnaround time with my order was quick. Looks sort of low frills, but I prefer they concentrate on the cuisine over the ambiance.

Best TACOS in TUCKER! And more… Tamales, Eliote, and Frescas. Family run and so much fun. Lunch can be busy but it’s worth the wait. Easy to park, prices are fair.
