Amazing smell, delicious food. Walking in, the smell was the first thing that caught my attention. Service was good. Decor was nice and interesting. I definitely would recommend if you’re looking for Mexican cuisine. Parking was fine.

I contacted El Sol about catering my daughter’s wedding, Linda returned my call answered all my questions and was very helpful. Yesterday was the event and the food was fantastic, we had plenty of food, they set up for us and went above and beyond. I would recommend them to anyone. Even to just eat at the restaurant. We will definitely be coming to eat when we are back in town. Thanks for helping make my daughters day special.

Another gem of a restaurant in Ottawa. Lunch specials are hearty and the 99 cent margaritas are a bargain even though they’re watered down. Guacamole was divine! Salsa was ok but since I salted mine it got better. Service was quick. All in all, a great lunchtime bargain.

The place is good but the service is not very welcoming…. Years have gone there but recently within the last yr it was like being served as an inconvenience… the good employees have gone to el mez and now moving south that’s very convenient for south customers is the best move for Ottawa residents and people that work south of Ottawa…. Helps when employees enjoy your service

chips smelled and tasted like old stale fryer grease, left my jacket in there by accident and in the 5 minutes it took me to get to my car and back in they took the lighter and change from the pockets. they also asked if we wanted to our drinks to go and didn’t mention they would charge $2 extra for that.

We ordered two large burritos and two tacos and they gave us one small sauce, not even close to enough that was enough for like two bites. They also skimped on the queso sauce that was supposed to be smothering the burrito although the burrito was large and tasty.

Friendly staff coming in. Seated right away with chips and salsa and drink orders placed promptly. Food orders placed shortly after that, but waiter needed to return to confirm my parties order. I ordered the chimichanga which came out in a few minutes. Hot inside, and well seasoned. Rice was good too. It doesn’t have the diced peas and carrots in it which was a relief. Parking is on the Main street, so if full you may have to walk. Would recommend.
