I had been to the other location once and it had been a good experience. Today, I visited the original location with my adult kids and three friends visiting from Germany. Like the other location, the simple and forgettable exterior belies a terrific gem of a restaurant.

I will not be returning to this restaurant. The service sucks. The waitress took my order. Got my plate… no napkins and no tortillas. I asked her when she brought my plate. Then I had to call her again a reminder her. I was almost done eating the food when she brought the tortillas. Mind you, tortillas are out of a package. She told me that the plate didn’t come with the tortillas, so that’s extra charge.

Seen many very good reviews at this place and thought it would be a good idea to stop in before working my shift.

Standard Tex-Mex fare with daily specials and a wide variety of choices on the lunch and dinner menu. Several choices of nachos, quesadilla, and tortas too. Drink choice is limited to soda and beer.

Talk about great taco’s this place here has got them. Wowsa, bowsa. Scrumptious to the bone. Excellent staff as well.

I was craving Mole and heard that El Secreto de Abuela has a few Mole dishes. I went during lunch time and got the #21 Enchiladas De Mole to-go. When I got home the first thing I noticed was the food was STEAMING HOT, which I was both happy and surprised at since most take out food is room temp by the time I get home. The Enchiladas were fantastic, the mole was savory with a little kick to it. I will definitely be back!

I placed an order via Uber Eats. I ordered 3 different tacos just to try them out. The babacoa tacos were super fat and greasy. All the tacos were topped with cilantro and onions. This was not an issue for me due to I love these toppings. The tortilla soup was delicious but there wasn’t any side toppings for it. I didn’t get any limes, onions or cilantro with it. The side salad for the asada plate looked really sad. 1 tomatoe cut in half and a few slices of avocado laying on some old lettuce. The pastor tacos were slightly dry but other than that the rest of the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it.

The staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the migas rancheras. It came with potatoes and refried beans. The beans are vegetarian so that was nice. The migas are topped with some sort of yellow cheese that I was not a fan of, it was too thick. Overall the taste was fine I think there tortillas got too soggy because of the ranchero sauce. They needed to be fried a little bit longer. The potatoes were not good they were a bit cold. The beans were excellent. The coffee was great. They also gave me the option of a red or green sauce I chose the green sauce. It was nice and spicy but the taste was just ok. I will probably come back to try some other dishes they do have an extensive lunch and dinner menu.

Some of the best Barbacoa and Al Pastor tacos I have had in a while! Came here on half hour lunch break and was able eat and pay and get back out to the work truck with eight minutes left over. The tacos are a good size for the price. The green and red salsa had a nice kick, but they were not overly spicy.

I googled food near me. Cause I was unloading at the whole foods and this place came up. So I decided to go for a walk to try it out. And honestly it was a very good decision. There food is just stupendous and delicious. Ordered me some mini tacos of pastor. There the bomd. There’s service was fonaminal as well to. Friendly people all around. Then still got me burrito to go fatty. Wouldn’t mind going again at all.
