This place slaps. The tacos, burritos, and pupusas are all great, and their salsas are delicious. It can be hard to find authentic tacos in the DC area but this hits the spot. They have good vegetarian options too; everything is fresh and well prepared. If you pick up your order in person the dessert case is dangerous; just go with it and treat yourself to that mango cheesecake. It’s meant to be.

This place is dear to my heart . Not only bc I work across the street. But bc the customer service is always pleasant and welcoming. The building has hosted a couple of different restaurants but now that El Sabor A Mexico is there, I have NEVER been disappointed with any meal. You can dine in or take out. Ms Brenda will treat you amazingly. The rest of the staff is just as nice and courteous. They have very fresh fruits (Mangos are super sweet)

I have been coming to this restaurant ever since they opened and have never had anything but amazing meals. Excellent service and the best Mexican food in the DMV by far. Their drinks cafe and supply of Mexican baked goods also have been the best part of getting off the metro and heading home. The food is top notch and the waitstaff make everyone feel like they’re at home. Comfort food and great atmosphere.
