Great food, friendly staff. It’s not large so you may have to wait for a table on a Friday or Saturday but not for long. Their service is super fast so they keep it moving. The Butner location is less than 10 mins from this one and is just as good but it does have more tables.

Hot diggity dog! If you’re ever looking for some real fine Mexican food this is the place! Starting with the chips and salsa this place had me foamin from the mouth. Fine warm tortilla chips that melt in your mouth and some salsa that has a mighty fine kick. The tacos and burritos are filled with the best meats, cheese, and beans. TRUST ME! You’ll be back for seconds. The staff is super friendly and on point. Your drinks will be filled before you’re even half way done. Your chips and salsa will be replaced basket after basket. Boy oh boy you need to come to el rio to get a taste of Mexico!

Cozy little Mexican place tucked away in a shopping center. Go on Monday – dollar tacos (hard/soft, chicken/beef) and 2 dollar margaritas! You get twice as much meat & cheese in the soft tacos, so go for those – just get less than you think you’d want (filling!), and order more if you’re still hungry. They also have massive fajitas – the lunch version is more than any one person could eat. Recommend getting the large queso dip – great on chips, even better poured onto the tacos!
