Come here for a taste of flavor town when it comes to burgers. You can tell they put a lot of love and care into their food. Great place overall. Great choice of music and really cool decor. I recommend their bacon burger. The one on thr top left of the menu.

I’d give them 5 stars but they play music for customers and the kitchen has its own music and that’s annoying. Food was really good and a little pricey but we liked it

The sandwiches are the best, the flavors are closes to the peruvian sandwiches however with the other dishes, they need to improve the flavor. The service is slow and the atmosphere is very noisy with the music.

This place and the food transports you to the delicious food of the Peruvian streets. The best Peruvian burger in Utah . Of course!! We will eat Broaster Chicken, Salchipapa, Chalaquito hamburger and much more

The food was amazing but the service not so much. I had to remind them every time to bring our chicha morada juice. Also, I had to request them to clean our table.

Came at 12:05pm on a Saturday and they were closed until 12:30pm. Hours are misleading, so we went to a different Peruvian restaurant

The experience here was very disappointing! My wife and I have tried the burgers/sandwiches back when the owner had his place in a storage garage, and it was amazing! However, this time the food was not great at all. I came to this location with my family hoping to get the same food, but they didn’t serve it until 4 PM. So, since we were there around 2 PM, and were hungry, we decided to try the food they had available. Both my wife and I had their Lomo Saltado to start with and shared with our son. Mine was fine with the exception of the beef being too chewy, and my wife’s had an odd taste to it. It was almost like her beef was old or cooked differently. I tasted it as well and agreed on her discovery. My son even thought it tasted bad. It was so bad that she couldn’t even finish the dish and we decided to try another dish before complaining. We ordered the Chaufa de Mariscos, and it was even more disgusting! The seafood was raw and the rice didn’t have the usual color that you would get with Chaufa. On top of that, the dish itself was disgusting to even look at. We love seafood and haven’t had any issues with other restaurants so far throughout both Salt Lake and Utah County. At this point, my wife went to complain. She was very polite to what seemed to be the owner’s mother, who was in the kitchen, to let her know the situation. The lady was very unprofessional and prideful saying things like “the food is always great. Everyone likes it. We are the only ones that have ever complained, etc.” She just did not want to hear any kind of criticism towards the food. That’s not how businesses should be run. If you can’t accept the fact that some people don’t like your product or have a bad experience and not want to make it right, then you shouldn’t be running a business. In the end, we didn’t even want to bother getting our money back since it would have been a hassle and a waste of time arguing with the lady. Since my wife was still hungry and barely touched both her Lomo Saltado and Chaufa, she asked the lady if she could at least make some Salchipapa to go. Before getting the Salchipapa, the lady asked, “What sauces do you want on it.” My wife asked her which sauces they have, and the lady rudely responded that they just have all of the sauces. How does one know what that even means? How are we supposed to know what all of the sauces are? Every restaurant does their Salchipapa differently. Just to avoid more contention with the lady, my wife just told her to put on the usual Ketchup, Mayo, and some green sauce. After getting the dish to go, we left the restaurant very dissatisfied and most likely won’t come back again. Overall, the restaurant is inconsistent with their dishes, prices are a bit too high, they need to work on their customer service (the girl at the front who took our order as well wasn’t very happy to help and didn’t even smile when we first entered the building), and have their “best dishes” available earlier in the day. If we have a mediocre experience at a restaurant, I usually will just shrug it off, but if I have a bad experience then I’ll take the time to write a review. Everyone will of course have a different experience here. The Picarones (my inlaws bought this and shared with us later in the day) are good and the Emoliente was great! My wife is Peruvian and I love Peruvian food, which makes me love trying out new places. However, this place just didn’t hit home for me.
