The food was good overall. I had the mediano plate. A chimichanga and challupa with ground beef. The fried flour shell on the challupa was soggy on the bottom where the beef soaked through it. Had to eat it with a fork. The chimichanga was ok, smallish, but no fillers like rice or beans. My wife had the fajitas with steak and corn tortillas. She liked them but they gave only 4 tortillas . You have to use 2 each time you build a fajita. So she asked for more. They brought only 2 more.

Inexpensive food with huge margaritas including blackberry margaritas. The food is comfy and filling – not fancy. Great for the entire family. Free chips snd red and green salsa.

Salsa was super watered down with almost no flavor. The drink and Mexican beans were fine but my enchiladas were very plain and bland. The chicken enchilada was soft, moist, and shredded but barely warm and the cheese enchilada was just awful. It was if they threw a cold rotisserie chicken shreds in one side and pre-shredded bagged cheese in a tortilla, wrapped it up, warmed it in a microwave for 15 seconds, and added a little more shredded cheese and diced green onions on top, and said here you go! Whoever the cook is, needs to go to Plaza Jalisco in Kelso and learn what real enchiladas look like and taste like and get the proper training from the subject matter experts!

Great food. The Birria beef is a rare find on a menu and was very good. Also had the chili relleno and pork tamale also very good. Lunch came with rice and beans and chips and salsa. The salsa is excellent. Friendly staff. More food and less expensive than the food carts down the street. Worth a visit!

The best Mexican food in Ridgefield. Friendly and helpful staff. Good portions on plates served hot. The flavored margaritas tops off a good meal

First time here, but just pulling up, this looked like our kind of place. Indoor and covered outdoor dining. Seven of for a late dinner all agreed that the food was very good. Service was quick and efficient. Servers checked with us several times during the meal, but were not intrusive. Enjoyable experience. Would recommend it.

My family has been going to El Rancho Viejo for generations. And there is a clear reason why. The food is amazing. Takeout and Dine in is super fast, and they always treat us with care and respect. Great vegetarian options for my wife allow me to guiltlessly order some Carne Asada. Some of our favorites we recommend: Arroz Con Pollo, Fried Jalapeños, Enchiladas (chicken or cheese), any of the soups, Avocado tostada, Taco Salad, Carne Asada, and Chicken Mole!

Lovely family owned restaurant. Their salsa and the enchiladas (vegetarian) are so delicious tasting. They made us the meals just then, fresh and warm. The owner even gave us the sopapillons on the house. Very sweet and very satisfying.

Cute little place! The server was very friendly and the portion sizes were generous. The enchiladas could have used a little more flavor (still pretty good), but the salsa & margaritas were great!
