Super sad tacos. Meat wasnt shredded, tortillas were store bought, and barely cooked. Salsas didnt have much flavor and weren’t spicy. But Id come back for the quesibirrias. Couple of tables line the wall and thats it.

Had to grab something quick to eat and went in and ordered a burrito asada. There were barely any customers in but the place was very tidy, clean and had great potential for large groups. The service was great and they had a good variety of jarritos.

I purchased two burritos, one chicken and the other beef. The burritos were a good size for the price but was full of salad, rice and beans, barely any meat. The meat lacked seasoning and the salsa that was provided was pretty bland. I would not recommend the burritos.

Since my initial visit when the restaurant was newly opened, the menu has expanded. I’ve been there about 4 times during the past couple of weeks. I really enjoy the quesadilla frita (fried quesadilla). They don’t skimp on the fillings! The atmosphere is pleasant, the workers very friendly, the food is tasty, and they have music playing throughout the restaurant. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the chicken taco because the chicken is ground. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, I suggest you stop by! Oh, and three of the women workers were making a cute Taco Tuesday sign when we were there yesterday. Three tacos and a soft drink for $6 on Tuesdays ♥

Awesome fresh tacos with very authentic taste. Reasonably priced food as well as nice indoor and outdoor seating. Overall very impressed and will be back for some of the best tacos I’ve had in Eugene.

This was my first visit to El Rancho. The place is attached to a Mexican meat market and as such I expected the food to be authentic and delicious. I was not disappointed. Upon walking up we were greeted by a woman outdoors furiously scrubbing the outdoor tables with a scrub brush and disinfectant. The indoor dining area was just as clean, and shockingly, completely empty of customers. The menu is simple and fairly priced. I ordered a carne asada combo plate for 12.99, which was a bargain considering the plate was larger than my head. The steak was cooked to perfection, charred on the outside and moist inside. The beans and rice were also very good, garnished with a grilled onion and chile. Everything tasted freshly prepared. The meal was served with four steaming hot corn tortillas and several choices of salsa. Topped it off with a Sol and was perfectly satisfied. My only gripe: plastic flatware made cutting the carne asada a laborious task, but I’m up for the challenge, it’s well worth the reward.

Holy cow!!!!! Why haven’t we been here before?! Today was our first visit and this is hands down our favorite in the area!! Staff was so friendly and the food was AMAZING!!!
