Oh my goodness what a cute place this is… everyone is so friendly and the tamales with the chili gravy was delicious and so was Jose the waiters recommendation of enchiladas with chicken oh they were so scrumptious!!! So delicious, I can’t wait to try more!!

I ordered the wet burrito dinner and I didn’t care for it. I wanted gravy on the side and the lady gave me hot sauce. The lady on the phone was also very rude.

This place needs alot of support from its cultural community. The dining area is large to comfortably seat about 100 guests but it’s always empty. The parking isn’t good due to repairs needed. No lines drawn separating vehicles. No handicap parking sign at all. I think $50k investment would make this place Pop!!

Their food is always hot, fresh and delicious. I love the enchiladas because they don’t come with the basic red sauce like other places, they make them with the brown gravy. It’s my favorite.

More time spent on the door dash and GrubHub delivery than any customer service whatsoever. Also food wise…. Corn tortillas were not even cooked. My ex that burns water could have done better.

I often say that Mexican food is specific to a person’s previous experiences. El Rancho Grande was ok, but didn’t exactly match my experiences at other places. I think some people will enjoy the food here, though I wasn’t as excited by it. It was a bit pricier than I expected also.

Our rather large party shows up one afternoon and the wait staff nailed it. Made sure everyone had refills, made sure orders were right, and didn’t mess up any orders from our more picky people. Everyone had a smile for us. Over all a great experience, that I’m sure we’ll do again.

I can only give it 2 stars. The “puffy” tacos were flat. The rice was flavorless (I’m pretty sure it was white rice with a dash of tomato sauce- no cumin, no chicken broth). The beans were a funny color as though they came from a can, also no flavor. Their chips were good and so was the cheese enchiladas. Great Mexican food is hard to come by in Saginaw.
