Good Mexican place with a very nice vibe to it and super clean. Food is good with a nice variety. Only thing a bit odd is the salsa. Kind of hard to describe but has a cross of flavor somewhere between traditional salsa and pizza sauce. Almost sweet but not completely. It’s ok. Certainly fresh tasting. Just not my preference. If you like milder salsas then that’s a plus. The entrees are good. Others I saw coming out all looked good as well. Nice place!

The restaurant appeared clean but service was subpar. The wait staff were not friendly, brought 1st and 2nd entrees separately and did not bring silverware until we asked for them. The chimichanga was “4” and taco salad fajita was “3”. Why a “3”? There were chunks of lettuce heart, flavor of meat was just ok, more bell peppers than meat strips and the shell fell apart while still half full. This is my favorite dish but the 1st time the shell fell apart and also the 1st time I didn’t finish it. No one checked if the food was good or refilled our drinks unless requested. Definitely below our expectations. This was our first AND last trip.

It is always a great sign when the wait staff speaks better Spanish and English. It is a little hard to find, but worth the hunt. Definitely a notch above the usual midwest Mexican fare. My wife had a Chile Poblano (Chile Relleno with cheese) and the flavors were excellent. I had the chicken taco salad. There was more chicken than salad, if you are into that. Portions were large. The drinks were plenty large and strong. Sadly, the soup shown is some of the photos is no longer on the menu.
