I stayed in this area for a month and this was THE go-to spot. Their one-dollar fish tacos are some of the best fish tacos I have ever had! Their other tacos are pretty pricey so I would just stick to the fish tbh. Truly addicting!

star of the show are their dollar fish tacos (now 1.19, still a deal!) 2 or 3 of them will fill you up well & happy they use corn tortillas. last I went, the quality of the food for what you pay just reminded me of my years eating Thailand street food. so it’s great you can still get this kind of bang for the buck so conveniently 24 hours a day here in the states (in California too!). it’s my go to whenever I am in the Encinitas/Carlsbad area – I never miss it like a beat.

You cannot go wrong with anything you order here but you must try the fish taco!!! They are only $1 but so delicious. This place stays busy and for good reason. We ordered the shrimp taco, fish taco and French fries all of which were so good.

The best fish taco in San Diego which is also better than any fish taco in Baja therefore the best fish taco in the world. If it’s not then the guy didn’t put enough sauce so ask for some more of the cream on the side. $1.19 and they are huge! This is $3 worth of tacos in the pic!

WOW! Best fish tacos I’ve ever had! I enjoyed the whole experience. Watching them cooking the kitchen and how efficient everybody worked together. Oh my goodness those fish tacos are some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! I also had the fish tacos in the Carlsbad El Pueblo which were just as delicious. However, the service was not as good but the employees were still friendly.

Absolutely the best fish tacos I have eaten this side of San Felipe MX. A generous portion of fish with shredded cabbage and white sauce on fresh corn tortilla served “con copia”. The accompanying salsa bar has everything you need to customize them to your liking.
