Authentic Mexican Restaurant with a rich menu. As soon as we had seated, they served chips, salsa, pickled carrots and onions. We ordered steak fajitas, steak tacos, and chicken taco dinner. Steak Fajitas came all sizzling hot and plenty of steak, veggies in it. The meat was so tender, and veggies were perfectly cooked. The corn tortillas came all buttery and warm . Tacos were delicious. Prices are more than reasonable. The environment was pretty clean, and ladies who served us were friendly. I will definitely visit back when I am hungry for more Fajitas.

Super clean, quick and fresh! Ladies working there were all welcoming. Currently have $1 taco specials. Great portions for $1 can’t beat it. Check them out!

The menu was not what the food was. It is deceiving what you are ordering. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. They should strongly put a point on what type of meat they are using for an asada. Not having the server tell you that it’s skirt steak. I know skirt steak…. And that’s not it. Maybe more like charcoal steak. Also we waited 10 mins for our bill and it never came. No one alerted us that you need to go up and pay. Paying blindly is not my forte. I like to see my bill first. They never handed me a bill. I paid, left a tip, and went on my own business with my family. I should’ve taken pictures of the food.

Delicious tostadas and the server was really sweet! My husband had the taco salad , very good but needs a little more lettuce.

Called to see if they had any menudo since it was late afternoon and we were craving menudo last place i thought would have it since we had been searching for a good 30 minutes in our favorite restaurant spots and either it finished or place was closed. Very happy to get a yes we still have menudo and close to home in crest hill area definitely going to order again from this place.

I just picked El Primo randomly for lunch and I was very positively surprised. The food came with chips and pickled carrots & onions, the chimichanga portion I ordered was quite good and generous. The orchata very good. The service is great . The place has easy parking and is very clean. I will surely return (I live 15 miles away !). I also recommend El Primo to who ever wants to eat a good value and tasty Mexican meal in a pleasant & welcoming place.
