I bought this tostada salad and the amount of chicken they on it is ridiculously small and under the lettuce you can barely see rice and beans. I know the economy is bad but this is just ridiculous. I just saw the other bad reviews and I should have checked them before going to this place. I saw that they have apologized for some bad experiences with some customers but I guess they have done nothing to fix the problem.

The most disgusting place I ordered double chicken salad dumped 2 dressing mixed it up than wham tiny chicken bones strikes roof of my mouth I counted 11 tiny bones. Stale salad and old smelly avocados. Rude worker dumps my food no receipt and no comments. I’m calling the health department

Just picked up the saddest 2 meat combo I’ve ever seen. The chicken is so overdone, shriveled up and dry, that it’s actually comical. I called to let them know, and surprise, the voicemail is full and it auto hangs up on you. You’re killing it Pollo Loco!

I don’t go to many El Pollo Locos and this is the closest one to me. My most recent visit just solidified I don’t really ever want to come back. Every single time I come they forget a large part of my order or mess up on very simple customizations no matter if it’s slow or busy. The customer service here is just as bad. The people are usually pretty cold or rude, at least the ones I’ve interacted with and it just makes the whole experience a pain. All in all I always try this place again every couple months but I don’t think I care to come back at all anymore.

The employees are friendly but the quality of the food at this location has gotten extremely bad. Probably due to inflation but still not excusable. I was given charred black chicken that was so obviously left over from the previous day. Salsa is given out in half teaspoon sized portions and the cilantro that used to be fresh and flavorful was wilted and tasted of nothing. Go to chipotle instead.

What’s up with this place? We order the 2 piece meal and 2 tacos, then the worker asked if we wanted chip and salsa, we said yes. Didn’t realize they charged us $5 extra for that. Fine. But guess what, after we drove away, there was NO chips, no salsa, no sauce, no napkins, no utensils. Our fault for not checking but if you wanna steal from customers then it’s really not okay.

Visited this location about 5 times so far and it really is really hit and miss. One day you get perfectly grilled chicken which is delicious, and another day you get burned chicken which is dry and hard. Not sure if it’s the cook working that day or maybe they just don’t have a good process to cook their chicken properly. Doesn’t seem to matter what time of day you visit, the chicken is hit and miss for some reason. I think I’m going to avoid this location until the manager fixes this problem.
