during the day this is one of the best places I found for El Pollo loco in LA. evening is a little different. the evening services why I took off 1 star really don’t know about eating in I mostly go through the drive through. but the services evening is not the same as a service during the day.

We took my mother in law because of here diet situations. She has 2 piece of chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw with flour tortilla and very surprisingly love it. So, Thanks for the staff’s and the foods.

There’s a number of Pollo Loco locations near me. However, I keep coming back to this location on Balboa and Nordhoff. The staff is super nice and professional. My food is always hot and juicy. Please keep up the good work.Thank you!!!

Very dirty restaurant. They had only one restroom for customers .bathroom smelled like raw sewage. Looked like had not been cleaned or picked upall day. I approached lead shift leader and told her it’s a sanitary issue and healthy dept would not like to see this. Nasty. Shift leader told me they contacted corporate but no one came out to fix the problem. If the bathroom is like this what is going on behind the counter.

I paid extra for a double pollo bowl, only to get the same amount Of chicken as a regular pollo bowl. The pollo bowl used to have 2 scoops of check and now they put 1 scoop of chicken and whole bunch of corn. Rice and beans. It’s a complete rip off. Almost $9 for this…not worth it. Pollo Loco in general is losing their touch. The chicken isn’t even that great anymore. Will not be going back to PL for a very long time.

Check your order and sides before you leave the place to avoid having any missing items when you get home. I stopped by this El Pollo Loco on my way home because it was basically on the way and I wanted something different to eat since I already had burgers for lunch. You will not have any issues finding parking in this plaza. They also have the inside open now beside just drive thru due to covid precaution. I got the 3 piece leg and thigh with mashed potatoes, rice and corn tortillas. I asked for Pico and hot sauce on the side and I even asked the lady if the hot sauce was in the bag which she said yes. I didn’t check because I was in a hurry to go home and of course the hot sauce was missing. The rice was kind of hard and the chicken had barely any meat on it. You shouldn’t expect much when coming here but if you like it then it all works out for you.

Awful service! Young woman saw us Walk in and chose to turn around and pretend she didn’t see us drive thru guy asked her if she took order and she said no and took her sweet time to do so. Had to ask for napkins and salsa cause she didn’t give us any…..if she had something better to do she should of called out and not show up to supposedly work… that she knows what work is?????

My family and I stop coming here for a while because the food just wasn’t as good as before. We decided to give it another try today and definitely shouldn’t have even bothered. The chicken was super dry and hard not tasty at all. The pollo bowl we order for our daughter they couldn’t get it right. We said plain rice and chicken only and they gave us one with everything. The chicken was bad they don’t even give you chicken breast for the pollo bowls like before it was little tiny of pieces that were burnt. Won’t come back!
