Seeing the world In a different way
There are some places that may not look super impressive from the exterior or even in the interior. However that should not over shadow a great restaurant where many local people visit (all the time) to have their favourite Spanish style food. I really enjoyed eating El Pollo’s Spanish home cooking. It is so comforting to eat good quality familiar food. The prices are excellent, staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I highly recommend you going here, especially if your staying at nearby hotels. I don’t need to make any recommendations to those people who live in this area, they already know this place and go here frequently.

The food did not look appetizing, I order a soup that included chicken but when I opened it the feathers were still on the chicken. The chicken was clearly not properly cooked or cleaned. Will no longer recommend! Very disappointed

Service is pretty bad ALL the time. They have young girls working there and no one to supervise what they do. I can stop going for a couple of weeks, go back, and another new person, another sloppy greasy fatty slop. I’ve had food that’s good and some not so good. But the workers behind the counter they need supervision because they don’t know or don’t care what they’re doing. Come on, people do better take pride in your business or job.

Absolutely disgusting food. Beef was mushy, undercooked and drenched in horrible sauce that looked like it was sitting there for days. Soup tasted like sewer water with mushy rice. And to make matters even worse, the employees are best comparable to zombies… mute, miserable and rude! Never coming back here again.

Serving of pernil not consistent. Someone ordered it with yellow rice and beans to go and I saw how the lady piled the meat on his container. I order the same thing/size but the meat placed was not the same amount. What gives? Because he spoke Spanish and I didn’t?

Service was horrible. The young lady behind the counter asked me 4 times what I wanted, due to her trying to do 9 things at once. I would have preferred her to give me her full attention when she completed all of orders. Then she messed up my order with someone else’s… I ordered a plate with arrow con gandules y pernil.. the pernil I received was all fat and slime and 1 small piece of actual pork. Also ordered chicharron de pollo and it was burnt. The food was poor quality and unseasoned… please don’t go there. Not worth the price. Won’t ever be back!!!
