It’s been almost 8-9 years since I’ve been here (due to moving out of state) but each time I did: the staff was welcoming and friendly, great entertainment and I personally enjoyed the chimichangas or even a good chicken burrito bowl. If I ever travel drive through Independence again, I’d definitely stop here for a great bite to eat!

Food was okay, but the service was bad. I didn’t like how the server gave us the receipt, while we were eating. I would understand that at a full restaurant, but the restaurant was almost completely empty! Food was okay, I ordered the quesadillas with cheese. The crust was crunchy, and the cheese was good. Overall was it at the beginning extremely hot, and it tasted dry. If you want to go there, go there, it is good. If you are searching for a restaurant in general, you might consider a other one. It’s right at the fence of „I would recommend that“ and „I wouldn’t recommend that“. So in the end, you should decide whether you want to go there or not.

Their Steak Street Tacos are Fabulous and you get plenty of steak in each taco along with beans and rice and cilantro and onion and avocado topping. The steak is the best that I have had so far in a street taco. Very good quality for the price of $17. The service is excellent and the employees are friendly and concerned about your enjoyment. I intend to be a repeating customer.

First bite I could taste the salsa was bad. Like rotten, spoiled, contaminated bad. We asked for fresh and it came tasting just as foul. We didn’t eat it, but ordered entrees anyway, I wish we hadn’t. My wife and I were both sick, full-blown food poisoning, within an hour after eating. Disgusting. They should be shut down.

Nice little restaurant on the square. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Tennant was awesome! She treated my grandchildren 6 like they were adults. Really appreciate that. The salsa was extremely good. Just the right amount of heat and really fresh. We had fajitas and a stuffed Chicken burrito. Both were home runs. The black beans…I highly recommend. We will be back!
