The food was excellent. The service was not good though. We didn’t get enough silverware and despite asking three different people, we still didn’t get it. I had to go to the bartender to ask for it. They never checked on our drinks or to see if everything was ok. Yet, once they brought our check (without asking if we wanted anything else by the way), they stood by the table waiting to clean it. While we were still finishing our drinks, etc. Not good!!!

Food is alright, but I like the other Mexican restaurant in town a lot better. The atmosphere is old, dated and needs improvement. The service is great.. it just doesn’t compare to it’s competition.

They have the best salsa in the area! The staff are wonderful and the food is always delicious. Because they are so good there are wait times during high-traffic times such as Taco Tuesday but it’s worth it.

We had a great time at El Perico!!! The food came out very fast and the server was ok, but it did seem like we were bothering him once we had been there for a bit (it was not busy so we weren’t keeping others from getting a table). I had to wait quite a while to get my sweet tea refilled. The salsa with the chips was very good but had a little bit of kick. I will definitely be back.
