Went to el pato in pharr since they were top performers on channel 4 but there a reason why the place was empty and clean but food was horrible compare to other el patos in the valley will not recommend this location sorry. I love el pato but not this location avocado was black and told the worker he said that’s all he had not even can I get you something elsa but nada . Also some dehydrated flautas.

This place used to be good about a year ago. I work close by and would buy tacos almost daily there. But as time progressed the food is now horrible. The service is horrible the people look like they don’t want to be there. The tacos are now tiny. And when you mention it to them they are rude. It desperately needs new management. I ordered the fajita and enchilada plate the tortillas were burned and the avacado was already starting to taste bad.-

Is it just me or are they chopping the chicken guisado pato. It used to be shredded in big chunks not it looks all chopped down like they are making it for babies with no teeth, but this dries out the chicken, the flavor is there, but preferably shredded chicken, not chopped ♂️ chicken doesn’t even look like chicken.

Breakfast tacos taste like they are made with powdered eggs. How can you call yourself a “Mexican” restaurant? I also asked for two extra tortillas and they didn’t put them in my bag

I just ordered a favor from here today around 11. I ordered three potato and egg tacos which were just fine and two chorizo egg and bean. My first chorizo taco had a long hair in it so I was disgusted and threw it away. I know this happens all the time—I work at restaurants also and even when you are careful with proper protocol hair nets etc, it can happen. So I get it. I open my second taco and almost to the end I feel a long hair in my mouth AGAIN. I don’t think it was the person that assembled the tacos but probably the person that made the chorizo batch as our other tacos were just fine. It’s just gross you guys need to be careful with this!! AND I’m pregnant on top of everything so this was very disgusting to me. Will not be back to this location sadly.

Had never dined in…usually drive thru…but sadly place inside is really worned down..they definitely really need to replace tables, wood trim, definitely needs wall covering panels replaced..cob webs on windows…didn’t look at kitchen itself but can imagine!!! Can’t figure out why manager does not see all this!!

Terrible at el pato. I used to like coming but not anymore they are rude and it’s taken them an hour to get are tacos done. And I’m still waiting this so damm terrible. Do not come this this location in Pharr.
