Came in for the first time yesterday and had very much enjoyed our dinner. The chips and salsas also came with black bean paste, which was a pleasant surprise. Ordered a small queso for the chips and it was a good portion for 2 people. I ate the Birria Queso Tacos and they were fantastic, so much cheese! The Mango margarita was amazing, I only ordered a Small, which is 12 oz, but it was more than enough. Tracy was our server and she was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We’ll be coming back here again, and will be bringing friends and family as well.

Finally got to try this place when it wasn’t super packed. The atmosphere here is amazing – they really know how to create a cool, inviting space. I had to try their margarita and that was really yummy. Service was impeccable! They were on top of everything (refills, chips, checking on us). Food was pretty good. I didn’t realize it’s El Paso style (duh), so it just wasn’t the usual Tex-Mex I’m used to, but still good. Would come here again!

Happy memorial day, everyone a friend and I went here because it had been recommended to me the salsa and the black beans that were on the table with the chips. I didn’t care for so I asked the waiter. If they had anything else we could use for the chips he brought out the green bowl you’ll see it in the photo that was excellent spicy thick very tasty.. I had the bottle beer it was fairly cold. He had the house margarita he said it was good and it was frozen. That’s why he likes him. He ordered the steak nachos and I decided to try the steak fajitas.. if you’re a fajita fan of the beef fajitas, I wouldn’t recommend the steak it was very dry underseasoned and I don’t think it was a very good cut of meat that they used , good note the Mexican rice, and the Charro beans were excellent and their fresh corn tortillas were the bomb!! The place was fun sat outside on the patio overall it was a good time. Follow me to the next adventure. Be safe out there.

Wanted to take my daughter out to dinner and thought I would give El Paso a try. First time here and I was very impressed. Really liked how they do the chips and salsa with a bean dip. Main course was fire with all the flavor! Definitely recommend!

Walking in the hostess was very prompt in assisting us. we decided to sit at the bar . The bartender was not as quick to help us but helped two gentlemen that came in after us . That kind of urked me a tad, but I decided to chaulk it up.

If you are in Alvin and looking for some Tex-mex, this is the place. The margaritas are WONDERFUL!!! We got the “bigboy” margaritas….32oz. I only needed one of those!! I ordered the Berria tacos…they were amazing, and the charro beans were some of the best I’ve ever had!! I highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Cheressa, she was our waitress and was absolutely amazing!!

Chips were burnt. Asked for chips & none arrived. After food arrived we made another request for chips. They were also “well done”. Friend ordered a beer & had to ask another server again for the simple request of a beer. I cut some slack since they just opened. It’s pricey for a lunch special at $13.99 for 2 cheese enchiladas. A lunch bill was out there. I would not recommend this place for value, service, or food. Hot sauce was mild enough to feed an infant. Friendly staff, just not doing a good job of satisfying the customer. Limited parking.

This is quite a different type of Mexican restaurant with a Caribbean type of food. Yes, not traditional, not Tex-Mex either. That is why I liked it because it was different. The portions are big and the taste is big too. I had the puffed taco and it filled the entire plate. My waitresses was US Navy and she was wonderful even rhough see thought I spoke Spanish.
