I’ve been to Isabella’s twice, after it was highly recommended by a friend.

Taqueria Isabella is known for their great AUTHENTIC food! Everything is delicious there, especially the enchiladas. The staff if very nice and the restaurant is very clean! They also deliver within a 15 mile radius and $25 minimum order. They can also satisfy all your catering needs. From weddings, birthdays, partys, etc. You name it they can do it

The best Authentic Mexican food I have had in years. Fresh ingredients, everything made in-house, great customer service. Not to be mistaken by previous owners, flavors are 10 out of 10 across the board. Small menu neans everything on the menu is their specialty. Don’t miss out on this experience. As a foodie myself, specializing in Puerto Rican food, it was a pleasure encountering such amazing food.

Really disappointed in our meal we got tonight. I’ve been before and enjoyed the tacos, chips and salsa. This time we went with the fajitas, me shrimp and my husband beef. I don’t know if they were out of shrimp and had to use cheap tiny frozen shrimp from Taiwan or if this is the norm. They were smaller than a quarter and there were maybe 5 in there all together. Definitely had plenty of bell pepper, must of been 2 whole ones. Then the “salad” was wilted shredded iceberg with brownish avocado and for some reason, sour cream drizzled on top. Why not keep the sour cream separate in a container? I like corn and flour tortillas, but there were only 3 tiny corn tortillas with this ginormous serving of bell peppers with a sprinkling of shrimp, so I had nothing to eat my remaining bell pepper with (not that I ate it, cause come on, I didn’t order a sautéed crudité platter)! Fresh local ingredients is advertised on the their menu. Definitely was not any of those. My “shrimp” fajitas was definitely not worth $12. My husband’s beef fajitas were slightly better, but nothing memorable or worth going back to. Makes the point of driving to E City and eating from Happy Taco that much more worth it, cause they’ve never failed us.

Fresh homemade salsa with the chips, 3 large beef enchiladas with rice & refried beans and a drink, friendly personnel, all for $13. If you live in Perquimans County there’s no reason to travel to Elizabeth City for good Mexican food.

The food is really good as are the prices. Not a lot to choose from but still a good place to take the family. Customer service is very good as well.
