We got in line at the drive thru and it was raining. No cover over the order menu, so of course I got wet. The lady taking the order, 1 barbacoa taco and one bean and cheese took my order but never acknowledged it so drove up to the window not knowing if she took my order right. When we got to the window, we got our order then she took my credit card, then wandered away before I could give her my signed receipt and forgot about me until another employee noticed me and I was able to turn in my receipt and get my credit card back. ☹️. Also my husband’s barbacoa taco was loaded with onion and cilantro, something he did not want on it A little pricey for 2 tacos, next time I’ll skip this place and eat elsewhere.

Great food, awesome service! And the tortillas are made by hand! The corn ones remind me how my grandmother use to make them when I was little. A wonderful memory for me. Anyways the tacos are stuffed, and the plates are huge! However, the prices are great. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

The children have taken over the management and with that transition many things have changed. The place has gotten fresh paint and a deep cleaning to make it sparkle. The staff was friendly. The food was quick and solid. The All Star? Definitely the salsa! Paraiso is delivering salsa well beyond many other restaurants in our city. Tourists come to experience our ingredients and recipes. They can get thin tomato soup and ketchup in their hometowns. So, step up and keep delivering flavorful and thick salsa like Paraiso.

I’m sorry, I used to love coming to this place. But, after finding a staple. Yes, I said STAPLE in my taco. I can’t go back. Plus, on top of it, I calmly take my plate to show the ladies, and then she’s like we don’t have staples. What??? No, apology. Just we don’t have STAPLES? At that point, I walked out cause I knew better than to stay and argue. Cause hand to God it would not have ended well for her. So, please BEWARE check your tacos before eating them.

I’m someone who comes to reviews before I try a new place out and I was definitely deceived. These were the grossest quesabirria tacos I’ve ever had. I will never try again.

My Father in law and Brother in law frequent this place. Once was enough for me. Wife recently went there and there was a staple in her taco. She brought it to their attention and the worker replied with “we don’t have staples” As if my wife walks around with egg covered staples in her purse or something. So 1 star and patron be ware. The staple was one thing the accusatory response rather than apologetic should speak volumes. too many other TexMex places around there that serve tacos without metal in them and are happy you are there.

This is my favorite taco place in San Antonio! Not only do they make their tortillas fresh and homemade everything, they taste so delicious. That’s homemade flour and corn tortillas. They food take just as amazing. Their service is quick. You actually get good sized portions when ordering here. Highly recommend.
