El Nopal was highly recommended as a local eatery; however, it did not live up to the recommendation. Service was slow; the food was cold when it arrived; and overall value per dish was disappointing. The *best* flavor was derived from the lime which added flavor to each dish. As far as Mexican restaurants I’ve visited, El Nopal was mediocre.
