Wow, since my last visit this place has really made a turn for the better. Definitely recommend this place. My experience a year ago in 2022 was not as pleasant and my review read as follows…

The chips were hard as a rock, and the salsa tasted like watered-down tomato paste. Service wasn’t that greattoo.

The waitress was great and extremely nice! The food however was a different story. My daughter has been up all night throwing up after eating the burger. My other daughter found a small piece of plastic in her food she brought home. I’m taking a day off work so I can take care of a sick child because of this place. There shouldn’t have been plastic anywhere near our food.

I remember this was the first place I ever had a Molcajete entree, and it was still delicious after all these years of being away. The waiter asked if we liked hot sauces, we said yes, and he brought us a tray with 3 hot sauces and some carrots beans. What a great extra – always say yes if it’s offered. The shrimp tacos and veggie enchiladas were also tasty. Great service.

The food there is always fantastic! And you get plenty of bang for your buck. I never get bothered from other customers, and unless they’re super slammed, the waiters are always there if you need something. My favorite restaurant to take my girlfriend to!!!

I had a pick up order. The chips and salsa aren’t the same. I ate 1 chip. I ordered 2 double mixed fajitas. The steak was so tough it was like rubber.. my chicken wasn’t even cut up. Just big white unseasoned pieces with tendon. Our beans were the consistency of water. I’ve been disappointed the past few times but honestly I think this time did it for me. Times are tough and wasting over $50 on bad food sucks.

I have eaten at many mexican restaurants but this place is superior to anyone of them. There food is outstanding and the service excellant. I highly recommend this place. I tried the mahi mahi fish n shrimp, rice n whole beans. Oh my goodness!!! The rrst of the table had Fijitas which they said were the best they had eaten. We all said it was the fresh taste of food that made it so special.

If I could give zero stars,I would. There was nothing authentic about this old meat which was salty, the chicken tacos had old meat in them (went in the trash can) Just a horrible experience and a waste of money. I knew something was off when I saw hard shells, no limes, onions nor cilantro. This is not authentic Mexican food,it taste like something that you would mix up and throw to the dogs. In Laredo Texas, any authentic Mexican restaurant that you go to always cook just right, this food was a false representation of Hispanic food.

Went in for a late lunch was seated pretty quickly but nobody bothered waiting or checking on us for close to ten minutes. Ended up having a young lady come up that was working on wrapping silverware take our order… food was good as to be expected but would have like not having to wait as long as we did to be waited on!
