I am extremely picky even about Mexican Food. Taking a chance on El Mezcal which I hadn’t reviewed was risky but it was TOTALLY worth it. I had the chicken enchiladas. The enchilada had lots of fresh chicken and no filler. The refried beans were as fresh as you can get. Their yellow rice was delicious. It’s so nice when you discover a great restaurant by accident. Great atmosphere too. Wish I had taken a pic before I ate to show everyone.

It’s a standard meeting place for my family because the drinks and the food tend to be great. The only downside is there have been inconsistencies on what is brought out when it comes to meals. One can state the same order two different times and have two different meals. Nonetheless, they tend to work hard on keeping their customers happy and we keep going back

We came to this restaurant 05-14-23 for drinks before closing and nothing to eat, it is 8:34pm. The host(William was rude and sat us in the corner, back left side) kept telling us we close at 9 repeatedly before seating us, we told him we are only here for drinks. So he once again said we close at 9, I told him you’ve told us 4 times already. We ordered….3 margaritas, bad choice they taste more like juice than tequila…we end up getting a refund. Ordering a margarita from this restaurant I thought would be amazing, but not what I expected. Don’t ordered a Margarita.

The food tasted great but was mediocre warm. Service was friendly, yet somewhat inattentive. They took our drink order, delivered the drinks, delivered food and never returned until dropping the check. Never returned to collect card. We finally left cash and left.

Incredible. Best Mexican I have tried in Lawrence. Everything was so good and so fresh. The enchiladaa sauce and burrito sauce and the salsa were so fresh and flavorful I was blown away. This is my new go to.

Went to lunch and had the Pollo Hawaiiono (grilled chicken with shrimp and pineapple) with salad & rice. It was Amazing! I would eat that every day. I love that they put pineapple on their dishes. Service was very fast. We enjoyed everything. It was my first time and I’ll be back!
