This place was rather standard looking when I first arrived. However that was quickly blown away when I got the chance to taste their delicious food. The chips and salsa were fantastic. And they make amazing handmade tortillas. Their burritos were also quiet spectacular. And their chicken platter was amazingly delicious. Neeedles to say I think I’ve found a new favorite. And I will continue to come here for food again and again.

The chicken taco was good but lacked seasoning the pastor taco was excellent very flavorful with a good amount of spice the fish taco was very good just wish I’d had some lemon with it. Overall a very good meal

Had 30 minutes for lunch, took 20 minutes for them to make the food with no one else in the restaurant. And then when we got the salsa Verde burrito, we found an odd clump and a hair in the burrito.

El Mexiquense was fine. Staff was nice and the food was ready plenty fast. It’s just nothing special is all. You’re paying standard sit down rates but it tastes like street tacos. I paid $12+ for lunch, but could have paid $4 at a taco stand for the same lunch. I would be fine to go back if someone else wanted to go. But I won’t be pushing for another visit.

Labels missing at the salsa bar made this [confusing]. What level of heat is this salsa? Food arrived hanging off the plate. Am I supposed to eat what’s been hanging on the table? 🙁 Toe- tapping Spanish music, well-seasoned and generous portion of carne asada, pleasant staff, and a great view of the mountains were highlights.

Randomly drove by and saw the tacos sign so I decided to stop. Loved all four of their salsa/hot sauces; they seemed appropriately marked for the level of heat and surprisingly I really enjoyed all four of them. I tried the Carne Asada, Pastor pork, and shrimp tacos.

Chili verde burrito. First time I got it, it was very spicy, which they said it was. It was good. Have gotten 3 other times and not very flavorful, spicy. Burrito dry. Not enough sauce. Won’t get again.

The rating due to bad customer service. This franchise is popping up all through the valley for customer service not to be a top priority. Ive been to their lehi location & saratoga and have had great customer service. However here in west jordan is a different show. I came on the weekend when it said on their website they were open and when I arrived all lights where off except the OPEN sign. Came in again on a Sunday and I ordered a smothered burrito thinking it would come with rice and beans. Only to find that I got just a burrito mixed w rice and beans and not the plate. If there’s two plates of smothered burrito then the rep should know to ask what we want. I’d rather drive to the other locations where I know customer service is prioritized. Tables are dirty and no proper greeting. Appetite is lost & food is now cold due to this review.

First time there, thinking it was going to be good. The food was cold and not tasty.Service was very unwelcoming. I should’ve known the minute I walked there no customers at all. The only good thing was the salsa.
