I grew up in California and I can count on one finger the number of Mexican restaurants I’ve been to that were as good as this one. The service was kind, warm, and attentive. The food was outstandingly delicious with lavish portions and didn’t rely on spicy heat to mask poor flavor combinations (though they do have hot sauce if you desire it). Their “small” margaritas were a huge bargain and probably the best margaritas I’ve ever had. I’m truly blown away by how amazing the food was. Even our 21 month old son loved everything he tried right down to the complimentary chips and salsa.

Looks like everyone is cutting back. Hardly any meat in the food. They don’t even provide chips and salsa unless you pay for them. For 50$ they should be more generous. Started off good but now it goin down hill.

Didn’t realize i had a Mexican restaurant near my home!!! Out exploring and came across this! In winfield, iowa. Not too bad. What i ordered wasnt super greasy like others ive been too. Everything fresh or homemade which was nice.

Excellent food, excellent service, an all-around good restaurant. The chicken tacos pretty much just melt in your mouth. Nothing I’ve ordered has been dry or overcooked and the portions are generous. Would highly recommend.

Excellent place to stop by in a decent location of Iowa. With a good selection of hand made delicious Mexican dishes from the “cocina abierta” -open kitchen view. Friendly family employees ready to serve and maybe even teach you new Español word or two 😉 So come stop by enjoy the town of Winfield and eat some “Delicioso” hot/cold food!!

This place is a hidden gem. The waitress was so friendly and helpful. We decided to order her recommendations for “carne asada” and the skillet with a variety of meats. It was so delicious!!!! Can’t wait to come back and try the margaritas!!!! Highly recommend
