This is the best Mexican spot I’ve come across in Alabama. Food is splendid. Service is awesome. Team greets you when you come in, chips and salsa are brought right away and they are awesome! I ordered the 4 birria tacos with corn tortilla with a Jamaica drink. Jamaica drink is spot on! Birria is well cooked and juicy as it should be. Very great taste and experience! Definitely recommend anyone to come here and give it a try!

We just discovered this place and so glad we stopped here for lunch! The food is fresh, plentiful and delicious and the service is top notch! Their chicken taco was huge and full of chicken, fresh tomatoes cheese and lettuce. In fact, after the taco I had to put everything else in a to go box! Also their enchilada sauce is authentic and delicious!

The best Mexican restaurant in Auburn in my opinion. Everything I’ve had has been delicious, but the quesadillas are especially good. Staff is always very friendly and attentive. And they have great margarita specials on Wednesdays, the perfect mid-week treat.

We stopped here and we are glad we did! Our waitress, Nelvia, was attentive and friendly. I had the Molcajete combo and the meat was tender and seasoned well. My husband had the Pollo Loco and he really enjoyed it. We will be back again when we are in the area. I would highly recommend it!

Stopped in between Lunch/dinner hours, that being said food was great! I got the Birria tacos, which were good but not the best I’ve had with their in-house drink! The service was terrible in the sense that our server only stopped at our table twice. We needed refills on drinks/Nachos etc and was just left there idle for the longest time.

First time at La Mariachi. Arrived to a packed house but were quickly seated at a table WAY in the back. Our server was very attentive and friendly, and we received our food fairly quickly for such a crowded restaurant. I ordered the carnitas as I usually judge Mexican restaurants on how well they can prepare them. I’m happy to say that they did a nice job. Nice and moist and flavorful as well. I also enjoyed the inclusion of grilled onions. The black beans were a little salty but still tasty, and they mixed nicely with the rice. I REALLY enjoyed the fresh tortillas and could tell they were homemade. My only criticism and suggestion I made to them was to wrap the tortillas in foil. The last tortilla was cold but still tasted good. Overall, I was pleased and will be back to try something different.

I came here for my birthday and college graduation both were on the same day. The food was delicious and service was good and the food was affordable. I told the service it was my birthday and they sang me happy birthday. The only thing I found different most Mexican restaurants give you a free dessert but they charge.

In my opinion this is the best Mexican food in town. I’ve eaten there twice so far and both visits were equally good. The food is served with an excellent gourmet presentation. The portions are large and the prices are good. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the service is fast. The quality and taste of the food is excellent.
