Pros: Delicious! They have two pupusa sizes: small and big. The small ones are 1.25 and the big ones are 1.75. The big ones are average size regular pupusas. I think the prices are really competitive because I’ve been to places that charge crazy prices like $3 + for a pupusa or so. They take credit cards which is a big plus for it being a small restaurant, the staff is friendly, and the orders come out relatively quickly. Also, I asked for pupusas to be packaged separately so I can take them for lunch the next day and they gladly did that for me — providing me with a generous portion of curtido and salsa.

The food here is so good I love their pupusas my friend brought me here it’s so good I highly recommend this restaurant I believe it’s a family owned restaurant small in a shopping center and and the food taste like its home made food. Again I highly recommend it.

A tiny little place pretty busy all the time 5-6 tables, fam business attended and run by them, very well known by the famous salvadorian pupusas!! And all the appetizers and main dishes, they make their own fresh fruit waters, yummy reasonably prices in spite of the recession..!! Believe or not, the key to a speedy service is to call in to be ready when you get there, the downside… good luck if you find a table when you get there, just kidding very recommended

Bad, bad service, the owner is so rude and w no manners. I took my mom to eat here, she is almost 80 yo and he was rude to both of us. We were treated like we were asking for free food, I felt so bad that I had to leave that place before getting our food. He shouldn’t own a restaurant if he’s not going to treat customers w respect.

We visited for the first time and here’s what I’ll tell you, the cafe is conveniently located if you walk past, or come by public transport, you will have to look for places by car

One of the best tasting pupusas in the San Fernando valley. Well worth the price as this business actually fills up the. Whole pupusa with food inside. Reasonable wait time as well. Order in advance by phone.

The food is just authentic Salvadorian cuisine. Delicious The restaurant offers a small sitting place. I will suggest ac it gets stuffy. The owner needs to pay more attention if customers need a refill or are ready to pay the bill. Even though there are some inconveniences I will go back because the food it’s just delicious. However, this time I will have my order to go. I forgot to mention el manguito open two years ago. Please support them. Again the food is delicious its worth the drive. You wont regret it!

Love the pupusas, is a must for once a month, calling and placing an order ahead is better since like every other salvadorean restaurant it takes a while for the order to be ready, tamales de elote are good empanadas not so much
