Mamut is one of those local hidden gems. They have so many options on their menu that everyone should be able to find something that they like. When we went, I wanted to try something I wouldn’t normally order, so I got the cheeseburger with a friend green tomato and fried pickles on it. The burger was very good and it was huge! I was only able to eat about half of it and my husband took it home and ate it for breakfast the next day. Great prices, good food and great service!

Somebody said it best “this restaurant is confused on what it is” it’s decent food. Great service. But probably won’t ever be back. Just seems kinda bland.

This is a Mexican restaurant which also serves many other kinds of food. The service is terse, and there was a language barrier between me and the waiter which caused some of our food to come out wrong. We ordered two entrees and an appetizer – his entree came out first, then our appetizer, then my entree.

100% it was fantastic. Food was great. A++ best burger I’ve had in a LONG time and my husbands steak was cooked perfectly as well as the chicken wings. The music was sweet love songs for a while then it changed, all the waiters were incredibly helpful and nice. I would go back again for sure. Prices were great.

Atmosphere was ok. Service was ok. Food was cooked using good ingredients but wasn’t seasoned to my liking or usual expectations. I live in Northwest Indiana and we have tons of Mexican food. This just wasn’t my style. Prices were not bad at all.

Food was fast. It tasted good but was unimpressed with the margarita. Tasted like mango water and very little tequila. Fries had no salt but they had salt shakers so no big deal. Price was decent considering the inflation issue.

The pork chops were very good as were the mashed potatoes. The corn not so much. Desserts were good. Mamut pasta dish was not hot when brought to the table. It turned out to be too spicy for her tastes.
