As we continue our quest to find great tacos and Mexican food we finally made our way to El Local after many recommendations. So there’s good and bad news after eating here. The good news is our hunt is over and I doubt I’ll be eating tacos ANYWHERE else locally moving forward. Bad news, I’m going to be packing on some unneeded pounds because of it. Started with a margarita. Ordered the chips with Pico de Gallo. 100% made in house and is excellent. Then ordered 4 tacos, 2 asada, 1 chicken and 1 pork. Fully loaded and they were awesome. They were definitely made to order, very juicy and just flat out delicious. My wife is a chimichanga fan and it was great as well. Deep fried and crunchy. Pretty sure we will be back, very very soon. This place is a local gem, and we drank and ate for only $50.

Wow. Delicious. So glad I stumbled into this. Guacamole and homemade tortilla chips were excellent! Came on Thursday night for Taco Thursday… $1.50 street tacos! 7 tacos, Guac and chips, beer and water… $26!

Everything we had was delicious! I had the tostadas and they were perfection. I love that you can get three different meats. I had the pollo, ground pork and Al pastor (my favorite). The meat had so much flavor, the tostadas were nice and crunchy, covered with delicious beans and plenty of lettuce and queso. The green salsa was bright and fresh and full of flavor. And you cannot beat the prices! Plates loaded with fantastic food for $10-12!! Wish we lived in the area because I would be here regularly!

Fresh, authentic Mexican food. Simple but very fresh and tasty reminds me of small local places in Los Angeles. The enchiladas were with a green sauce really good but for my personal level of heat too much, but my partner enjoyed! Loved the Pico and chips, not complimentary have to pay but will order again because again can’t emphasize how fresh. Steak asada taco, just like street tacos in L. A., rice and refried beans like made at home.

I waited for almost thirty minutes at the bar with only one person there beside me drinking their Corona. No staff talked to me. Finally, I had to say something to a server if I could order food or get a beer. The owner or manager told me to get in line behind nine people. I have pic. What do you think? These are the nine people. I don’t understand.

This place has amazing street tacos, served up fresh at a great value. I’m basing my review on a few takeout lunch orders, but I look forward to dining in soon. It’s clean and tastefully decorated, and I have been greeted each time with very pleasant and efficient service. They serve beer and wine and have a good list of Mexi-American favorites, clearly with authenticity. The menu is not overwhelming, yet had lots of appealing options. I get the impression that the owners are local and passionate about the business. The other great reviews are well deserved.

My husband and I visited today for the first time and we had an amazing meal! The chips are so thick and crunchy they went perfect with their quacamole along with their two choices of sauce that my husband loved, he even asked the waitress for some to go! My quesadilla was perfect, the cheese and pork was oozing out of the sides! Thanks El Local! We will definitely be back!

Food was absolutely delicious. The torta is huge enough to share. Would definitely order again. The service wasn’t the best. It took a while for us to be approached by the waiter but in his defense they were very busy and he did apologize profusely. The atmosphere and music is nice but I felt like the AC wasn’t doing enough. Overall, I’ll be back here soon for their amazing food.

This is a hidden gem, for sure. If you would care for some great, authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the spot. They have some great specials, and no matter what you have, you will not leave disappointed. Staff is friendly, and they all help each other out to make the experience even better.

Very cute and welcoming upon walking in. We were greeted and went straight to the register to order. We got the chicken flautas, carnitas and pastor tacos, chips n guac, and a side of rice and beans. We enjoyed the music and played a game of jenga before the food came out. Everything tasted fresh and it was sooooo good!!! We will definitely be back for more you have to go check them out!
