Small little restaurant with about 10 tables I ordered three soft tacos, flour chips, and salsa and I also asked for the hottest hot sauce which they happily provided the food was very good very fresh and authentic. I travel a lot and I will definitely put this one on my saved places to visit every time I’m in the Reading area.

Drove up from Boyertown on a Saturday night. Arrived at 6:45. Goggle said they were open till 10. So disappointed! They were closed. I knocked on the door. Guy sweeping the floor says “Boss said to close!” Well! BOSS! I think that may have been a mistake. We have been to 4 other El Limon restaurants in the tricounty area. All great! This one I can’t rate. They closed really early on a Saturday night.

Delicious food and affordable prices. Had the tinga alambre and chips with salsa and guacamole, all wonderful! The chips are made in house and super thick, they hold up very well to the house made guacamole and salsa that were flavorful and fresh. I look forward to future visits and trying more menu items. I called El Limon this first time on Tuesday for take out. Ordered “The chicken quesadilla and the nachos with guacamole and salsa “ON THE SIDE”. Take heed…wet or semi wet condiments should never be put on crunchy food if it has to travel. The quesadilla was delicious but very small for the price, the nachos topped with guacamole and salsa at the store went straight into the garbage when I got home. Very disappointed, didn’t even have chance to taste them, a $8.99 waste. Too much competition out here to get it wrong, sorry.
